  1. if LT or AP are there,  get one of them, if they are already picked, then get tom brady

  2. westbrook or SJax

  3. a rb. i kno lt proabably taken so just get brian westbrook hes a beast. dont get lj or steven jackson they will not b the game changers they were a couple years ago

  4. Well this is a personal opinion...My top 5 are Peterson, Thomlinson, Brady, Addai, Jackson.

I think there are only 2 elite RBs this year. I would rather have a scoring machine in Brady before Addai, or Jackson. They seem to get hurt sometimes, and miss games. So does Thomlinson, but it is ony one here one there. Brady will score more points this year then MOST RBs. You can not go worng with Brady at #3.

There are others that say wait for a QB, but when you are talking over 500 points in Yahoo Fanatsy Football last year...you have to grab him before someone else does and like I said RBs will get hurt. Brady is solid!

No WRs beat Brady out either. there points will not come close to Brady.

Many Many EXPERTS will say wait on Brady. I say get the one who is MOST LIKELY GET GET THOSE POINTS.

  5. I have the third pick in my league this year also.  If AP or LT are there jump on them.  It is unlikely that they will be there but some joker might slip up.  If they are gone, I like Joe Addai at 3.  I know that most fantasy rankings have him at 4 or 5 (I have seen him as low as 7), but your first round pick is all about minimizing risk and getting a decent pay off.  There are really only 2 ELITE running backs this year and they will likely go 1-2.  You could go with Westbrook or Brady in the three slot also, but I have been burned too many times by guys coming off of career years.  I look for both of those guys to take a step back from their numbers last year....don't get me wrong, both will have solid numbers but neither will match what they did last year.  You could take S Jackson at 3 also, but I think the Rams are going to be terrible again and that offense is a mess.  Also Jackson's hold out will hurt him in the first few weeks of the season as well.  I am taking Addai at 3 and you should too.  The bigger question is who are you taking in rds 2 and 3?  With those picks being so close together you should consider a QB WR combination.  I like Breeze and Colston or Romo TO (if TO is still on the board)  I would even take Romo and Witten in those rounds.  The league is deep this year at RB and WR (the top tier is not so deep but the second tier and third have solid guys all around).  However, the QB position is a bit sparse.  Really, once you get beyond Rothlisberger there is a big drop off.  If you can get Brady, Manning (unlikely) Breeze, Palmer, Rothlisberger with your second pick I say do it unless there is a top 10 running back still on the board.

I could go on and on about strategy by round for you but honestly dude it sounds like you need to get some cheat sheets together.  I suggest checking out http://www.fftoolbox.com/index.cfm or CBS sports line check out their player rankings for a guide of who to take when.  Remember, no defense until the last 2 rounds and take a kicker last.  DO NOT waste your earlier picks on those two positions.  Good luck!!

  6. Brian Westbrook or if the first two guys are morons then either LT or adrian Peterson.

  7. I could go on and on with names but, If you haven't  got yourself ready with your choices by now your not taking this serious enough.
