I know one result doesn't make a complete change round in form but I think the English genuinely believe in them selves and letting everyone write them off! Come on lads!! English sport needs you desperately!!

  1. Agree with you, we haven't seen the England team at its best yet.

  2. No i do not think they will win it. they were lucky against Australia and that's that. (I'm not an Aussie fan) Against Aus they played their normal boring rugby, they must be the most boring team there is out there winners or not.

When they come up against France they will be defeated and that will be the end of that.

I would like to say that South Africa will win it but they need to beat Argentina first ( where the h**l did they come from this year ) once they are out the way and the final is France v South Africa it will depend on the day.

All i can say is i hope that England are not in the final because what a dull final it will be with their boring line not running in tries and ultimately relying on one man to kick penalties.

  3. the field is pretty much open now, no one is favourite no one really playing well, but now we owe france for two big defeats and SA for the group stage, so who knows

  4. Greystien

the best teams have now gone home !!!!

Why have they gone home if they are the best?

ffs can we not have the usual c**p about boring rugby.Give some credit where its due.

Why bother with a world cup if all the teams left are so ****.....maybe we should just watch nz play australia several times i`m sure this will be interesting.

Just out of interest who was your team because clearly they have been knocked out otherwise you would not come out with total bollocks

  5. I believe that France will win. They certainly have their work cut out for them, since England are the reigning world champions and just eliminated Australia. But everybody seemed to be predicting that New Zealand would destroy the French side, and it didn't exactly happen that way. France have a better team than they're given credit for, their embarrassing opening loss to Argentina notwithstanding. One thing I think everybody can agree on though: France versus England semifinal at the Stade de France should be a great game.

  6. What a dull game where you win by kicking 4 penalties.

  7. This English team can only win a match if they can completely dominate up front. I can not see them doing it against France.

  8. im goin to go 4 south africa to win it now

  9. What does it matter if they do?  Most of the best rugby players have now gone home. If you get excited watching teams that seek to deconstruct running rugby and creativity then I am sure you will be on the edge of your seat as the rest of us weep at what could have been.

  10. I'd narrowly have South Africa as favourites now - but at this stage it could be anyones - even Argentina - who'd've thought that beforehand? I wonder if they'll still be denied entry into the Tri-Nations if they actually go and win it! They've certainly played the most entertaining rugby - it'd be great to see them do it.

  11. France will beat England this weekend. England won't have anywhere near the dominance in the forwards they had against Australia, and let's be honest, they really don't have a great backline.

France by 12 points. Will be a great game, I'm gonna be there!!

(Pity I bought my tickets thinking it would be Aus vs NZ.........)

  12. Who cares how you win??

    I would rather win 3 - 0  than lose 54 - 55.

  13. well they have been improving thus far so i have hope yet

  14. I think England is pretty tight. I reckon they'll take it.

  15. no !france is better

  16. England can win it

  17. Well I'd rather be or support a boring winning team than an exciting losing one!  When do you ever hear people saying they are playing a sport because they want to be exciting!  I'd love to see England score more tries but a win's a win and if it was your team you'd feel the same!  They are playing to their skills and if that means constantly giving the ball to Jonny then so be it.  Just think how much better NZ would have done if they'd given the ball more often to Joe and Sivi!!
