I have this ground cover (maybe a weed) that looks kinda like a geranium leave?

It grows on the ground without a long root system so it is easy to remove . It doesn't strangle anything but grows on any ground that doesn't have something planted. It bunches by the walls of my house but doesn't creep up. Does anyone know what it is? NO flowers just small geranium like leaves and when I pull it the stems almost feel like I am pulling fishing line, ya know like a little stretching.

It's a weed not related to a geranium or ivy at all it's  ground ivy! Glechoma hederacea. It's gonna flower if you stop cutting it in light purple flowers looking like mint a littlle. By the way it is related to the Mint.
