I live in canada so i want to know if this could be dangerous or what, they are like black and hairy and a white dot on its rear end and move fast. i search all over the wiki and internet but it always shows me american spiders, if anyone could help me please tell me, also i live in small town near toronto if that helps identify it

i had to kill this one as it crawled across me in bed and now i find myself up all night searching for an answer lol, the more spiders i see the more freaked out i am getting but i have alot more in my house some pretty big like size of a penny.

so if you know this spider, ( black, hairy and white dot near it rear end), please post me an answer here as i will be up all night waiting, thanks

  1. Yes, i agree with you that most of the sites on the web are of American spiders, so i did a bit of search & maybe this will help -

  2. I don't know if this is possible, but if you can see the fangs of the spider, it is possible that it is deadly. However, you don't live in Africa or anything like that so the worst you can get is a swollen bite (i hope)

  3. hm, i think it's a Zebra Jumper(jumping spider), i saw it often:

in this site, look at the gallery, it is the same spider you said, but why not white dots ? because it depends on species, so on that site, you can only know the info, but i could tell , i saw the black jumping spider with a white dots, it's very beautiful :) just remember it's a zebra jumping spider
