I'm a 27-year-old woman.I hope many of you know about the movie "The Outsiders".C. Thomas Howell played Ponyboy Curtis.I recently saw the movie. And I have been totally bowled out by Ponyboy! So much so that I'm looking for his look-alike!Ponyboy is 14.Don't you think it's odd & even wrong for a 27-year-old woman to go nuts over a 14-year-old character? Is there anything wrong with me?One thing I must mention here.I'm not really sexually attracted to him.But I love him a lot! It's kind of a combination of motherly, sisterly, friendly & even "loverly" love minus s*x.I want some good answers to my question.I'm really bothered & even worried.

  1. i dont think so, im a camp counselor and one of my kids is so cute that when im outside of camp and i see her look alike i like get all exctied about it and freak out about how cute she is... i think you just liked the movie a lot and think the kid is cute

  2. It is just a movie character. I don't think there is anything wrong because Ponyboy is a fictional character. If he was a real person, then that might be a little strange. Great movie though.

  3. "The Outsiders" is a really emotionally stirring story.  Maybe you got a little more emotionally involved than most people who see it.  C. Thomas Howell wasn't 14 when the movie was made - I'm pretty sure he was at least 18.  And I don't think it's the actor that you're attracted to as much as the character.  And why not?  An intelligent, sensitive, orphaned teenager who gets beaten and bullied, almost dies in a church fire, and then traumatized by witnessing the deaths of two of his best friends?  I'd want to take care of him too, except that he doesn't really exist.  Other kids who need help do, though.  Maybe you could find a good outlet for your nurturing feelings - Boy's and Girl's Club maybe?  I'd like you to ditch the "loverly" love first though.

  4. Maybe subconsciously, he reminds you of someone in your past.

  5. You are having a wrong wish. Do not extend your dream beyond the expected level. Try to adjust with your immediate environment and try to be happy. If you are so good you can extend your motherly, sisterly and friendly feelings to your son, daughter, sister, brother, relatives, neighbors, etc. You are bothered and worried because you want to pluck the flowers in the sky. Instead try to pluck the flowers in the nearby plant.

  6. It's a little gross, but not wrong. You are your actions not your thoughts.

  7. Don't be worried....

Nurture is the word I think you need to put in this gap.

You are probably a nurturing person all round.

    enjoy xx

  8. I think this is wrong, I'm 14 and this is some sick stuff man.
