I have this poolcue.it has no shaft for it...it looks like a duffren but the symbol at the bottom is a bird??

thier is a plastic or glass covering at the lower part of poolcues and it has a bird symbol.....or a picture of a hawk inside.......i have no clue what it is

I think Tracy got it right. It's definitely not a Dufferin, but may be a Falcon. Take close up pictures of the logo and post them on the forums at easypooltutor.com. If nobody on there recognizes it, it's probably a cheapo cue.

Duffern uses a Red Maple Leaf set in some clear plastic on the butt of the stick as their logo.  If you're looking for a new shaft for it, predator is making some add on shafts now that are supposed to be able to go on almost any stick, (they make a few different joints on the shafts, you order the one you need) I have a friend who bought one as a replacement for one that got broke when someone took a swing at him, he loves it.
