I would think Sleeping Beauty would be an easy one... think country girl and city boy... as for the sleeping part, she could go into a coma??? You could kind of do the same for Snow White, cept' make the dwarfs her dad, uncle, brothers, etc........ that would be kind of cute. Have fun with whatever you use. Sounds like a great creative writing assignment =)

How old?  TRON might be fun if you are a technology person.  The Absent-Minded Professor movies and the Shaggy Dog movies would be easy.  Try one of the live-action ones because no one else will.

have you seen the movie A Cinderella Story? You could do something like that, although I don't know if she would like you basing it off something already made.

What about a version of robin hood where there's a modern day theif robbing mansions and donating money to homeless shelters from selling all the stuff he steals.
