OK, so ever since I can remember I've had this "hole" in my throat...very small, moves when I talk, drains some clear fluid that resembles mucus. My dad has the same thing, and neither one of us has ever had an ear infection. That's right - practically never.
I get asked about it all the time. It's practically unnoticeable, but if I'm around someone long enough they'll notice it.
Ever heard? Do you have one too? What is it called? I've heard "bronchial duct" before, but I believe its an extension of my eustachian tube. Can't find anything about it on the web.
