    Meulen, to Antwerpen. 1675

    Made in Germany

    Let's see:

    The placard is ... um ... not 1675 Typeface is all wrong.

    It looks old, but not that old.

    Antwerp is in Belgium, not Germany

    Old one stringer. Needs a good cleaning and assessment by a qualified luthier, and an assessment of value.

    Could be $10.00 could be $10,000 ... can't give you anything from pictures.


  2. It probably is a reproduction of a 1675 model.  Makers at that time had no need to place a 'Made in (put country here)' label.  I doubt a Stradivarius says 'Made in Cremona'.
