I have this weed plant that is about a foot tall,if i smoke it will it do anything??

You never know what effect it will have.  You should not try as it may be dangerous.

I take it you are talking about an unknown weed and not pot. If this is the case you have a chance that the weed will get you high, it will do nothing, it will give you some sort of lung infection, it will kill you.

Get an ID on the plant to see if it is poisonous or psychotropic. Otherwise, you are being incredibly stupid and deserve what ever happens to you.
