I have this white coating on my tongue with red spots and the tip is red and irritated...?

The best place to go to find out the answer to this question is to go to an acupuncturist.  They actually study tongue diagnosis, and they can tell you what sort of underlying problem is causing it.

They probably would not say that anxiety caused it, but your anxious state of mind may be related to the overall imbalance.  Body and mind are treated as one in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

This sounds like possible oral thrush. A funfal infection which is related to the yeast infection. This needs to be treated with an anti-fungal medication such as Nystatin.
