I have this white hairy growth growing in high water flow areas?

Question

i started using stresszyme recently, and on all of my filters white hairy-like growth is growing in my filter's tube thing (the part that sucks in water and waste), and the part that directs where water spills back into the tank.....

is this the bacteria? am i using too much?

i've already scrubbed most of it off.

It sounds like you were lucky and got a live bottle of Stress Zyme.  It does sound like you're seeing bacterial growth, which is very good.  I wouldn't scrub it off unless it becomes very unsightly, though.  It would be extremely difficult to overdose, as there is very little material in Stress Zyme that could even pose a threat to fish-- if you're freaked out, it wouldn't be terrible to do a water change.

bacteria maybe mold
