my pc have threatfire install, do i have to install another anti virus? such as mcafee; norton; kaspersky; webroot spysweeper

  1. Definitely, Threatfire is designed to complement your antivirus, not replace it.  

    I would suggest Avast:

    Many will sing the praises of AVG, which I would have recommended with V7.5, but V8 is bloated, slow and ineffiecient.


  2. Yes it is recommended.

    Threatfire only monitors what applications, processes and services are requesting things like:

    Internet access

    Registry modifications

    Access to protected system files

    etc

    It is not a virus scanner in the classical sense of the phrase.
