I have three 12" cvrkickers...is a 2400w rockford fosgate amp good enough for it? ?

Im pretty sure the amp is 4 channels...What specific and exact information do i need to buy an amp for my three speakers?

what is the the power rating of the 12" speakers in RMS

What is the impedance of the 12" speakers

Will you connect them on each channel? or are you going to connect them together in parallel to a channel or what?

welll kicker cvrs r  S****y but that amp will blow them speakers 2  sht so id use a  less powerfull1 un less u want friend kickers get 1 15 l'7 use tth amp

info needed to PROPERLY match amps and subs

the subs voice coil setup (DVC or SVC)

the subs impedance (ohms)

the final impedance at the amp (how the subs are wired)

the number of subs

the subs RMS (continuous) wattage

or

the model numbers

you NEED to look at the RMS (continuous) wattage not the peak/max wattage because they mean nothing

only way you can run the speakers is if you run them at 4 ohms any thing lower than that then your going to over power them. if the fosgate runs 1200watts bridged at 2ohms then thats the best option. but 2400watts total is way to much for those speakers.

The CVR subs are all dual voice coil.

You are wiring subs. Let's stick to the amps that are made for subs. You need a mono amp.

If the subs are dual 2 ohm, your best bet would be to find an amp that is 800 to 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohm. Using wiring option 1 from the link. Giving you a 1.34 ohm final load.

If the subs are dual 4 ohms, You should look for an amp that is 800 to 1200 watts at 2 ohms. Again using option 1 from this link. Giving you a 2.67 ohm final load. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer...

Remember to always use the RMS wattage of the speakers and the amp as your reference.
