  1. .... walking won't do anything.  If you have hypothyroidism (low thyroid, meaning your TSH was high, T4, T3 on the blood test was low) then you need to be on medicine to repalce the hormones your body isn't making.  (synthorid, levothyroxine, armour - something).

You need to talk to your doctor. If you're not on meds, you need to be.  If you are, then make sure you schedule a follow-up in 6 weeks and get more blood work to see if the meds are working.  Start researching this - it's not usually something that "just goes away."  Unless you are hypo due to something like pregnancy, it's a condition you will have for life.

  2. Have you spoken to your doctor about getting the thyroid meds?  You will need to take them for a weeks before you can start to feel the benefits.  You will find you are less tired then.  Its a slow process but it works.  You should also try taking supplements that will boost your energy levels.  there is plenty of info on the web.
