Question:

I have tingling and numbness in the small toe and side of my foot on the left foot. What are possible causes?

My foot isn't asleep, I haven't stubbed or knocked it and my shoes fit fine. I haven't done unusual activity so I'm really not sure. I had a bad case of plantar fascitits about a year ago, but had been symptom free for months. Maybe this is some nerve damage related to that?

  2. I have a pinched nerve in my back.  When I sit in bed, all my toes get cold and go numb.  I have learned to sleep flat with no pillows and that helps.

    I have asked this question before, but got no responses.  I figured out that it was when I fell on my tail bone, my toes go numb when I sit propped up in bed.

  5. There are numerous possibilities depending on whether or not you have other symptoms as well. It could be diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, or a host of other things. However, it's probably only a pinched nerve. See a doctor and have it checked out. It's better to be safe than sorry.
