I have to admit this about kobe

Question

after the san antonio series i was one of the people saying dang this guy might be as good as MJ, he looked that good, but then after the finals, i not only said ok back to what i originally thought which is MJ is the best hands down, but i also am thinking that because kobe is not a very good person that he might be counterproductive to his team & even people like KG, CP3, & others might be as valuable to theyre team or more than Kobe. Kobe is definitely the most talented & there are plenty of good things to say about him but these are my thoughts...do you agree / disagreee?

Come to think of it if Shaq did not become a laker Then LA would Not Have Any Recent championships I Think You Should Put More Emphasis On Shaq Than Kobe What Has Kobe Done To Even Be Considered The Greatest (Yeah He's Good But Greatest Nope)

I agree with you 10000 percent. He is a cancer. He is the most talented but he wont share his talent with others.  Other players do more with less talent with better results! Just look at the Lakers Bench when a timeout is called everyone is disgusted by the way he talks down to them. He swears at them. He is counter productive, when things are going bad he will only make them worse!

i agree. hes really good, maybe even the most talented in the nba, but hes just a selfish little prick whos wasting a good amount of his talent. he probably actually has the POTENTIAL to get close to mj, but as of now, hes not even close

You have to remember he beat an old and wore out San Antonio team after their suns series, as well as just plane old.  Kobe has never been able to be great against tough defenses.  Detroit took him down in 5 games with shaq in the finals.  And now another tough defense squad basically held him in check.  Jordan had great games against tough smack mouth defenses back in the 80's and 90's.  NOt saying kobe can't do it, but he hasn't yet.  But Kobe is best in the NBA today.

I'm not making any excuses for Kobe, but keep in mind that he had an injured pinky. He aggravated it and has been playing with a banged up pinky since the All-Star break.

From that time till even now, he had to play through a bad pinky and I admire that about Kobe.

He gave everything he could and risked his health for a trip to the finals.

its true kobe aint a good person but that doesnt stop him frm bein "the next MJ " . 4 his team however i think that kob is productive for the fact his team is nothing without him although he is puttin up an impression to be bad might influence thoughts of how other players actin the leage but he is very valuble to his team(when he wanted to be traded phil did everything he can so that wont happen). Oh and just cause kobe lost in the finals this once doesnt mean hes not like MJ cause MJ even lost in the playoffs against detroit etc. Personaly though 4 the next MJ i would say Lebron will have to be as good as him cause of his young achievments, amazin stats and the fact that he made a trip to the finals in his fourth year.
