I have to choose a holiday- Australia or Europe?

Ive been to australia, and miss it! But ive never been to europe...what do you think?

I loved Australia, and I understand that you miss it, but if you have never been to Europe yet go there.

To make a good decision you should also look into the financial side of the plans, and which time of the year you want to travel.

Europe is way more expensive than Oz, double the cost most likely.

So budget the money you have for your trip and work out how much you would have per day (after calculating things like plane tickets and insurance and so on.)

If you have less than 50 Euro/75 $US, per day for Europe, reconsider.

Traveling with less money can be done but is not going to be a lot of fun, (as I see it.)

And if you want to travel in a certain time of the year, consider weather and the amount of people going there at the same time.

Summer in Europe can be crowded and expensive (even more than traveling outside the summer,) but going to southern Australia at the same time of year will get you into winter, you might even be able to ski.

On the other hand, traveling to Northern Australia can very well be done in June to September, will not be as crowed as Europe.

Well if you have been to Australia then go to Europe this time - trying something new is always much more exciting

.... plus you don't end up with a case of the "what if's"!

Then for the next time you can compare the two easily and stick to one or the other if you have a strong preference

Also Europe has so many countries, each with their own culture, history, people.... that it is guaranteed that you can find something that you will miss when you leave :0)

I would choose Europe! Australia is nice but Europe is full history. There are so many different countries to explore...all the coasts, the mountains and the fantastic large cities and thesmall historic town, the different landscapes...you can visit Australia another time but choose Europe this time...you won't regret it!
