We are going to be representing our church. We have children available. I am not look for "Rose Bowl Parade" quality. Just local fair quality.

  1. The obvious choice would be animal costumes and a barnyard scene with a few haybales. Or Noah's Ark, obviously. :)

I'm sorry I couldn't be more original. Blessings on your float!

  2. You could have a float entitled  "Now I lay me down to sleep..." and have a child dressed in pj's holding a teddy bear and snuggled under a bedspread. Other kids, dressed in pjs, are holding little cardboard sheep. The sheep can all have numbers on them. The kid with the teddy bear can be "counting" the sheep as the kids holding the sheep hop over him or walk in front of him. The kids can take turns being the

    the counter and being sheep.

You can make the sheep look wooly by glue cotton balls onto them. You could even put little jingle bell collars on the sheep and the kids could even get to keep their sheep.

The "Herd" idea comes into play with the herd of sheep!
