I have to dettasle corn for the first time tommorro anybody mind enlighting me on the process?

I finally got a job detassling, i understand what were accomplishing but i was wondering the actual process. Its my understanding that ill be on a tractor thing being pulled along rows of corn and i have to rabidly pull something off im not sure what the h**l im suppose to do. all i know is that i get to do a 8 hour shift in 100 fun filled degrees. Sorry this question dosent really fit anywhere

Usually employer provide some on-place training for new personnel, so don't worry and ask questions. All you will need to know is how to handle specific equipment for your tractor and how to manage it properly. Of course technological process basics should be known too. The rest will come with experience, and don't forget about safety.
