I have to do a piece of writing on temptation, any thoughts on what I could write about?

I do believe I have the perfect subject for you on temptation.  I watch allot of CNN, MSNBC, and such.  I don't know if you have ever watched " Dateline to Catch a Preditor" on MSNBC?  However, I seem to catch it on tv allot lately, then last Sunday I watched a special where Chris Hansen when to Gambodia, I believe that was the country, and was showing how children, as young as 5 year old little girls were sold into "s*x slavery".  I watched this special for several hours, and was totally sickened and devestated to see these children having thier whole childhood, innocense and and lives being stripped from them.

Here is the kicker, the question, WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE MALE GENDER that is always tempted in to the act of child molestation, rape - however one chooses to word it.

And if you watch, "Dateline MSNBC to catch a Preditor", with Chris Hansen - not one show has been about women going online to "hook-up" with children, get them in bed, have s*x with, agian, however one wishes to word it.

Why is it always the men that are tempted into doing such a sickening act, most of these men had children of their own.  In Gambodia, their were so many men that were professionals, even a doctor, flying over from America, Australia - to have little girls of the age of 5 years and up preform sexual acts with them.  These are men, that in there own country, state, community, are "upstanding citizens", educated, of wealth.

Yes, we have all heard of a few woman, such aas teachers falling for a student, and them having an affair.

However, this is a little different between a woman having an affair with a teenager, than a man flying half way accross the world to have s*x with a 5 year old.

I am by no means condoning the teachers actions, as she is just as guilty - but the question that hit me was simply this:  What is it in the MALE that drives them to do such acts with children?

Have they always wanted to do these things and now the internet makes it so much easier to find kids?  Or were they doing them prior to the internet, and those were the men that go out and kidnap a child and rape.  What is in the male gender that gives them such a horriffic temptation and worse yet, what causes them to act upon it?

There was a reality TV Show Called temptation Island. I don't normally like those shows but this one I liked. You might can find the season and watch it. The real world TV show would be a good also. You can talk about how they put these kids on TV just to see what will happen, they all go on the show often partnered already and give in to the drinking and other "tempations" that are always in their face.
