I have to do a reserch topic for history... but i can't think of a unique topic...?

Question

its a seinor project, worth 20% of the final result of my 2nd level result overall so it's important. its 1500 words requires3 sources etc....

anyways i would just like some suggestions on interesting events in history( the shorter the timespan the better) that are kinda off the beaten track.. ie obscure and still interesting..any suggestions you have are welcome, 10 points if i use your question as one of my 3 initial drafts =] thanks!

Pick something no1 else would think about, I'd say research on History of Cocain, u can find all about it on wikipedia, very interesting; but don't take samples to class lol. good luck, I hope u do good :)

You could write on how Hinduism get away from Islamic Invasion in India. Its unique and I bet no one ever explored it. In wikipedia type key words..Islam India Babar Akbar

I would do WW2...hear me out! I know that's used a lot, but do research on all the other races/countries that nobody ever looks at. When most people hear the word holocaust they think of jews, but a lot of other people were prosecuted too.

African colonization

60s hippie era

Social issues that occurred during WWI WWII

How US took over Hawaii

The Silk Road

The First International drug law (opium) and it's social consequences

How Western Imperialism effected Asia

Weapons and how they developed through history

Take a look at the history, discovery, or travel channel and I'm sure that will give you some ideas
