  1. Do it one line by one line. If you make sure you have one line memorized before going onto the next one, you should remember it. Or you could just remember the main points or sentences of the speech and then fill it in as you're talking.

  2. You need to find key points things you think will enhance not only your speech but key points you can focus on and rattle off details with out a moments notice.   If you have to cram just do a search about again key points in your speech, your not going to remember everything but repitition does help your memorization of somethings you in fact find odd or interesting about your topic.  If you want to give a good speech you need to go outside your comfort zone and not read on like a drone.  Think of how you would want someone giving a speech to you to sound monotone and boring or informative funny and energetic...if it's not a funny topic theres only one way you can laugh at it and its stupid in the moment humor.   Just cram and take a deep breath and have confidence in yourself your smart organized and ahead of the game have fun with it!   You won't regret it.

  3. writing it over a couple times always helps but dont overload because there is a thing as studying too much, you have to relax the brain.  Notecards can also serve as reminders during your speech just dont rely on it too much. And reading right before sleep helps you to retain it more in memory.  Good luck!!

  4. A: Simplify

    B: Sleep

C: For the sake of your memory, sleep!

  5. You're nervous...

  6. Memorization works best when you involve as many of your senses as you can. Read it, hear it, speak it, write it....repeatedly. Repetition, repetition, repetition is all that has ever worked for anyone.

or like u listen to songs and can memorize u can record ur voice lol and keep playing it :)

xoxo i usually wright it down

  7. if you left everything for the last minute, then my friend you are pretty much screwed.

  8. Don't try to memorize the entire speech, just try and get down the main ideas, and try to ramble on about those ideas, instead of verbatim speech

  9. index cards in the palm of hand-

  10. For a short speech:

Try memorizing one line at a time. Start from the beginning, and don't continue until you've got that line down. Once you get your first line down, add the second, and repeat the two lines until you've got both down. Continue in that manner, and you should be able to recite the whole thing tomorrow. Make sure you do it a few times right before presenting!

    For a longer speech:

Do you need to give the speech exactly as written? Normally, the point is just to get your message across clearly, so a few deviations from the written page is normal. Choose a few key words from each paragraph, and write them on a small sheet of paper. MAKE SURE you know your material. If you do, you should be able to glance at the main words, and give a speech very much like the one you have written.

For both, remember that with enough repetition, you'll eventually get it down. So make sure you practice!!
