I have to get shots for when i go on a student trip to europe;im so freaked out helpp meee

Im 15 years old. I have to get a bunch of shots because im going to europe next summer and plus im due for some needles too and im extremely terrified of needles and i need to kno if theres any way or tips of making them hurt less PLEASE im sooo scared and i kno i have to stop being a baby but i cant when it comes to needles.

1. DO look at it. The surprise will be worse. Look at it, acknowledge it's going in, and just breath through it.

2. DON'T tense up. It will cause the muscle to get poked and--OWWIE! that hurts. :)

3. DON'T worry. :) It's over super quick and doesn't hurt as much as you remember it hurting when you were 7. :)

well where are you going in europe cause i went and i didn't need shots... what you can do is close your eyes or look away when the nurse is giving the shot. also if you get a good nurse, they know how to make it not hurt. you can also have someone to squeeze their hand or something
