Your going to do some time mate,if you say to the judge that your going to AA meetings it might help your case,so i'd get down to your local AA meeting as quickly as possible.

A guy I know went to court and requested to go to a drug rehab  instead of jail and admitted he was an alcoholic.  But his 3 DWI's were not all  within  a 10 year span.  Another guy I know had 3 DWI's within a 10 year period and he got 4 yrs but served 2.  

I know you don't want to hear this but a 3rd DWI and driving on a suspended license is not good.  I'm afraid the court might think you just can't obey the laws.  The suspension was for punishment and you disregarded it.   You didn't mention if anyone was ever hurt while you were driving but hopefully not, it will be easier in court if there had been no injuries or accidents..  Good Luck

hmmm dont know where you live but a guy here just went to jail for 36 months for his 3rd DUI...... get use to wearing those  jail clothes.... *shakes head*.. drinking and driving is NOT funny... YOU should be ashamed of yourself and I hope they throw the book at you!!!!!

Your scared?  The people who have to share the roads with you should be more scared.  There is no excuse for a 3rd DUI, you need a lot of jail time and addiction treatment.

Tell the judge that you have a serious substance abuse problem and ask to go to rehab.  Oftentimes they will do that instead of sending you to jail.  But if you've went to rehab already after either of the first DUIs it may be more difficult.  The judge may sentence you to jail to wake you up.  You really need to get a hold on this.  Three DUIs is a major sign that you have a serious problem.  Get real about this.  You don't want to end up killing someone and have to sit in prison feeling horribly guilty.
