I have to keep resetting the clock

Question

..I feel that there is a short somewhere. I want this issue resolved because I feel there is a greater problem and this computer is just 3 months old.Like right now, the clock says 12:46pm when it is actually 3:46pm.I had to reset it approx. 3 days ago. And, this is ongoing.

I have an Acer X Series 1200/3200. That is the info listed on the pamphlet.
