I have to make a collage for class...?

but i am terrible at doing these sort of things :/

can someone give me ideas on how to make a cool one?

i dont want just pictures, i want some texture on it.

can anyone help me?

I had to make a collage for my textiles GCSE and what did was get swatches of material, ribbons, thread, lace, buttons, pictures of bags, clothes and colour charts. I glued them down in colour order so it looked like a rainbow when I was done.
