I have to make a wind vane for science class, please read!?

Ok I need to find out what direction the wind was blowing from, like for example (I'm just making this up, on May 1st the wind was blowing from the NorthEast.) NOT THE DIRECTION IT IS BLOWING IN!! Does anybody know any website that can tell me this information for the dates *Apr 26-May 9*??

I've been looking on google for a while and it just gives me sites that tell how fast the wind was blowing...
