I got into a University in Canada and I have to move from California to Alberta but how do I become a resident there. I don't want just a student visa because I plan to stay over there. I have an aunt and cousins who already live there. What do I need to apply for or where can I get information that tells me what to do. Thank you.

  1. Get a student visa. There are new rules that will  allow you to upgrade.

Here's the site with all the information. Better get started soon. You will get a student visa much earlier than a resident visa if you will start in september:

  2. Better off remain in Us. Canada has lots of gun violence since stupid Micheal Moore advertised to US criminals about guns in his documentary.

Those fire crackers smuggled from the south of boarder increased 100X, all the major cities is like shooting gallery. Lots of innocents got hid or even killed. Majority of the shooting are committed by black youths while US has improved quite a lot due to most criminals are sent to Iraq as soldiers.
