I have to re-new my german passport and also change my lastname. what do i have to do???

I have already a green-card and need my german passport for traveling. it's about to expire and it also still has my maidenname which needs to be changed. who do i contact? what forms and documents do i need? i need help.....

Execute an affidavit for a change of name and when granted, request for the change of the corrected name on the renewal of the passport which you should apply at the German Embassy in USA.

Walk into the German Embassy and say Listen here Von Richtenstein my passport is going to expire soon so lets get a move on it OK and while your at it Lets get rid of this crazy last name so no one knows what country i am from. That is unless I speak
