  1. I can't imagine someone coming on here and thinking this is a good idea to ask.

  2. First of BREATHING is a key, if you can control your breathing you can controll your whole body! Get a good breathing pattern through out your run. Breathing in through your nose out through your mouth. Also keep your mind free, and keep positive thoughts! Don't ever think how much distance you have left or how much time you have. Running is a great time to wonder like you do in class, but this time no one can stop you. Think about all fun things you can, like maybe your running in an important race, or your the star of one of your teams and it's really intense. Put yourself in a different place, other then thinking your at tryouts. You will notice the time, and distance will go by extremely fast. Keep in mind don't ever think to yourself how many more laps you have to do!! IT will only tire your body out! So don't do it! Goodluck!

  3. breathe deeeply dass all i culd say

    GOOD LUCK!!!

  4. Okay, I'm in Junior High Cross Country and here are my tips:

You ran your mile in 6:50? You should be able to run 3 miles in 25 minutes. It's not a lot if you pace yourself. Oh yeah, eat some protein before the try-outs, but don't overeat. Push yourself to jog. I don't know if this will help but yeahhhh....

  5. I don't know what you mean by read a 3 mile.....how do you read 3 miles?
