  1. yes, i sometimes run 3 miles in 1 day!

  2. ~ you will be so surprised how fast your body can build endurance.....If your try outs are with in a couple days,,,You can do it......if there in a couple weeks then start out slow,,,start out at walking/running half mile the first day...more running than walking the 2nd day.....by the third day you will be able to do a mile with no prob,,,,soon you could be up to 5 miles a day!  running/walking 5 miles a day might take up to an hour,,,but you will feel great!

  3. you have to get out of the house to do it but that is only 0ne mile a day

  4. Yeah... One half a mile in the morning.. one half in the afternoon/evening..split it up in three days!

  5. One mile a day.

  6. yes it is  a mile only takes about 6 minutes to run at full speed

  7. ya 1 mile a day!

  8. i personally hate running, I was just lucky they didnt ask me to run that short before accepting me to the team. HAHA!!

3 miles is nothing in a single day, besides we walk way longer than 3 miles a day. What is 3 miles additional mileage to your legs when you'll reap a rewarding place to your favorite team.

isn't it satisfying when in fact you only needed 3 miles to become a varsity? after your classes, run and or jog that meager 3 miles and if you can't make it in 1 hit, go in the next morning. YOU should finish that in one try, two is the most.

don't show your weakness when strength, endurance and will is what they need to see in you.

  9. I run 3 miles in about 25 minutes. Not super fast, but if I'm personally out of shape. If you haven't run that much before, I suggest easing into it. A mile a day shouldn't tax you too much. Make sure you don't eat dairy before you run. It clogs up your throat and makes it unpleasant. Listen to some music and the miles will fly by.

  10. Yea  I had to do it for soccer try outs...hopefully your in shape....and good luck

  11. Yes.  You should be able to run one mile in 15-20 minutes without difficulty.....probably even less time.  So, it seems like a lot now, but once you actually do it, you will see it's not that big of a deal

  12. yeah just do 1 mile a day!!  it's tough sometimes whether you're in shape or not but that's why your coaches want you to do this!!  to see if in tough situations you can pull through for them!!

and I have had to do something similar to that!

    but you can do it!

  13. easy and I'm out of  shape but not fat.

  14. Yea you could actually run 3 miles in 1 day.

  15. yuu dont even have to run a mile a day. one day run like a half mile, wait an hour, run another half, wait another like 2 hours and then run a half mile again. there ya go. a mile and a half in a day. then finish it the next 2 days. hope this helps! good luck at tryouts!!

  16. Definitely it is possible.

Try running several times in a day... if you can reach 1 mile total in your first day, you will have more confidence to get it done.

  17. Thats easy if you ease your way into it. I usually do 5 in a day. Just make sure to stretch! Good luck!
