  1. Let's say today is Monday and The race is Friday.

Monday: Hills workout :) Self explanitory

    Tuesday: 3 mile jog

Wednesday: No running, Early bed time, Pasta dinner, stretching

    Thursday: 1 mile jog

Friday Morning: Banana and orange juice lots of water

Go out hard man, you wont have a good time if you don't use up all of your energy. ggood luck :)

  2. pump those crazy legs ol chap

  3. When you run, don't look back, don't look down at your feet.

Keep your back straight, taking/ forcing out two breathes with help straighten your back. Keep your arms at a 90 degree angle. Also keep those shoulders low and loose, not clenched up. Fold your fingers onto your palm. (Pretend you're holding on to a potato chip), emm your strides, try kicking out a little and landing on the heel of your foot and pushing off the ball of your foot. kinda hard to explain.

Also stretch before you run, very important.

  4. Ok you have 4 days to train. So get out and train during the 3 days that you have to practice

Today- Run the mile at a slow pace (maybe a jog)

Saturday- Run the mile at a slow/ medium pace ( do the first two laps slow as a jog, then run the last at a medium pace.

Sunday- Run the mile at a medium/ fast pace ( do the first two laps as a medium pace, the next lap go at fast pace and the last lap give evertyhing you have left)

Monday( The race day)- Run medium first lap( but not too slow try to keep in the front) The 2nd and third lap run fast. The last lap give it your all.

Remember to stretch and stay hydrated!

  5. Okay, i know a mile sounds horrible but it actually isn't so bad as it seems. Make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before or you'll really regret it!! At the LEAST 8 hours! Stretch before for like 15 minutes and don't eat anything within an hour of when your running. While your running try to breath in through your nose and out your mouth it makes breathing a lot easier and you probably won't swallow a bug! If you get a side cramp lace your hands together and put them on top of your head but keep moving! You have to run it off or it won't go away. Don't drink any water while your running and when your finished don't drink too much or you'll give your self a really bad stomach ache!! Good luck hun! I hope i could help!

  6. Drink water for the next few days to make sure your hydrated.Stay away from junk food. And pace yourself in the beginning of the run.

  7. stretch your legs and just drink lots of water. when you are actually running keep a steady pace the whole time and take long strides, towards the end start pumping your arms and sprint :)

  8. Stretch your legs for at least 15 minutes before you run.

  9. start out at a steady speed and when you get about 3/4 of the way go balls out

  10. The thing i usually do when i run is

I pace my breathing, like i take 3 steps

then breath in and 2 steps out

and i keep doing it and it keeps me focused on something

and when i breathe out i make sure my mouth is like a chute

and drink some water 1 hour before you run

    :) 2% Dehydration = 10% less in perfomance :D
