I hate the kings cauze i like the warriors.... the trade is very stupid.. instead of getting jackson or whoever, they should have fished alston or battier instead.. dumbasse@

Yeah, they could have gotten a lot more for Artest. I think this is almost as bad as the Pau Gasol trade, sorry.

Well, I think it was a win-win. Because if you don't kow Donte Green; who got traded; he's a future star.

(Scored 40 points in first pro-game). But as a Rockets fan, I liked it. Sorry. I think he will help Yao and Tracy Mcgrady to get to where Mcgrady and Yao haven't gotten to yet.

But as a Kings fan I wouldn't worry that much about Artest. Donte Green will be a future star.

It was a trade for the future. Artest was unhappy, and Houston didn't feel like they needed to keep their number 1 pick. The Kings got Donte Green(who has been likened to that of Rashard Lewis) and a first round pick. It's safe to assume the Kings are going to be in the lottery this year, and they will pick up a good player. They are going to have an electric front court in a few years with Green(6'10) and Thompson(6'11), I say don't worry about the trade, because the Kings are going to scare people with Green and Thompson. Don't forget, you still have Kevin Martin. He is a boss tycoon.

* To think that Kings management rejected a trade of Mavs Brandon Bass and Jerry Stackhouse for Ron Artest is understandable; they are not getting equal value there unless the Mavs inlcuded Josh Howard, which is what they wanted. But then to go and trade Artest to Houston for Donte Greene, Bobby Jackson, and a 1st round pick is mind-boggling. What were the Maloofs thinking?
