I have to wait 9 months for a cell phone!!!???

my parents are thinking about getting me a cell phone for my next b-day, but its so far away, i dont know how to deal because i see SOOOOO many people with them!!! what should i do?

talk to your parents and tell them you want to buy a cell phone. do something to impress them so that shows you deserve it.

9 months is a long time. Go to your local dollar store, buy a prepaid phone for around 15$, buy some minutes and use that for a while. You will be glad you can use that in that time.

if you've gone on living without it at this point, you can wait another 9 months.  trust me, time flies when you put your mind on something else.
