I about to start working at a pharmacy as a clerk and I have to wear scrubs. Where can I get CHEAP stylish ones? How many pairs do I need? Is there a certain fit that is best? Is the junior fit like the junior size T-shirts? (Very Clingy/tight) Thanks in advance, 10 Pt's!!!

  1. Try second hand stores for really cheap scrubs.  You can find scrubs in several places, I believe Avon even has them sometimes.  But check places like Sears or JC Penny.

As far as how many pairs you need, it is your choice. However some places like to have the people matched in color (not pattern or shade) for certain days of the week. I find this especially at dentist places. I used to work 5 days a week at a nursing home for 2 hours a day. I had 3 sets of scrubs. As long as they are always clean, it doesn't really matter. But consider the fact you are going to be in the public eye constantly, so maybe having several (5 or more) wouldn't be a bad idea.

  2. I get all my scrubs from Tafford - they have a ton of styles and their prices are incredible.  Sign up for their email list, and they send all kinds of coupons and free shipping offers.  Their crossover tops are more of a junior cut, but they do run big so you might order a size down if you want a tighter fit.

You probably want at least 5 sets so you only have to do laundry once a week.

    Good luck!
