The effect that speeding has on people, is that it is dangerous for themselves, and their passengers. As well as other motorists, and pedestrians.

Try searching for some statistics about deaths or injuries caused by speeding in your state/country.

it's also important to keep your liscence current so that police officers can correctly identify where offenders live, and their name.

As for keeping your license current and your driving record clean is obvious. It affects your insurance rates and job prospects as a few years you will be out in the real world and that will matter big time.
