I have to write a report on an interview but in third person how should i start it off?

  1. Third person means tell it like a story about someone else.  So, don't say "I met with so-snd-so and he told me..." Say, "So-and-so grew up in a small town in Georgia..." or "started his law career in New York" or whatever.  Hope that helps. Don't tell the part about your interview, just tell what you learned.


  2. Why don't you do it as an interview of an interviewer interviewing someone else. Like you're the sidelines listening to the interviewer and interviewee and interviewing that. As I sat at the table, I listened and jotted down notes while (A) was in deep conversation with(B)etc.,etc.,.

  3. Well, your report can start with a thesis statement on your topic. But mainly it is kind of hard to help when I don't know what your report is about but still try a thesis statement.
