I have to write a story for school and i had an awesome idea but its not allowed so can someone help me? It has to be in past tense first person and all i have is two names, Ivy (girl), Shane (boy) please help!!!!!!

Write as much as you can, some free association, to stir up ideas.  Most of the stuff you won't use, but by writing it you may find a good idea for a full length story that's appropriate.

Context isn't important as long as the piece is of good quality. Is there no particular theme for the story? If not, try and have the story involved about something that interests you. That way, you have a greater wealth of background knowledge.

I once had to write a story with the title "Leader of the Pack", so I wrote about wolves and used a lot of fancy imagery of light and auroras along with a good deal of descriptive words, and I got an A* on it. If you know about the subject your writing on, always try and impress the teacher with things you reckon no one else would know, and try and make your peice stand out from everyone elses!

like the princess and the pea but with a modern twist?
