I have tried about 5 times to invite a friend to my group with no luck. Never appears in the invite pending?

some servers see invites as spam, and some never get them.

if your group is closed, you're stuck unless they have another e-mail addy.

if it's not closed, copy and paste from the browser the link up there while on the homepage and send it in youor own mail to that person. they can join per the tab Join This group
