  1. Jackie if the other lady cant find the information for you then I would be quite happy  to help out as well. You can  email me through my yahoo profile.  I don't have the years of experience that she does, but I can search the BMD index without any problems.

    Hope this helps.

  2. If you have his date of birth then you can track him down in the civil registration index's. these can be viewed on line (ancestry has them) one thing though not all names come up on a search so try doing it manually one page at a time.

If you do not want to do it online then try your local library they some times have the index's on micro fiche.

    Good luck and good hunting

  3. Have you tried the Salvation Army ? they have great success in tracing missing / lost people. I would certainly be wary of people offering help claiming to be something for 15 years, when they claim to be 26 y,o, Good Luck

  4. Paying for the exclusive sites don't always offer the correct details.  Sometimes you have to dig pretty deep and know what sites to use.  If you like, you can email me at jessica_boutilier@yahoo.com and I can help you with a British search on all the sites that I do have.
