I have tried to ask a question in my yahoo group but the ques never gets posted? Why can't I post the ques?

if you're a member of that group, it could be due to many reasons. you should e-mail the owner and ask this. it could be you're moderated and it's still pending approval, or the owner didn't approve the post. it could be caught in the spam filter, and pending approval. it's really hard to say for sure but those are common reasons why.
