  1. By any chance are you looking in the photo folder in Yahoo Mail? Those photos are not on your computer.

Items in "My Photos" and "My Attachments" in Classic Mail are just views of the original email. Deleting the email will delete what is appearing in those folders. It shows what is in the "inbox" and "sent items" along with any other folders you created. You can delete from "message view" in the photo or attachment folders but it deletes the original email along with the attachments.

  2. If the problem is:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied

There has been a sharing violation.

The source or destination file may be in use.

The file is in use by another program or user.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

  3. if images are in "my pictures " folder, you should be able to select and click red X delete from menu, or right click , and drag to trash bin, if image can not move to trash, you may be in viewer mode, and require dragging small image to trash, you can also go to actual folder and drag to trash, if images are in and album like hp/ kodak/ adobe, there may be other ways to remove, suggest not removing until you back up on cd just in case, if images are viewable and can not be deleted, is there a pop-up error displaying as to why they can not be moved, if error says they are not there, they you deleted them and computer needs to be restarted,

if images are in other users folder, then you can not delete,
