Yahoo won't post it. Kind of makes you wonder how anyone can call it Liberal. anyway, the question is:

How can a true Conservative vote for McCain? He is not pro-life.

McCain believes that there should be an exception to abortion for cases of rape and incest. Are those unborn not also human beings. Why does McCain think it is o.k. to murder them? How are some abortions murder and some not murder???

  1. McCain is more concerned about his preservative than being seen as a conservative

  2. Many pro-lifers believe in exceptions for rape and incest, and the case of abortion when the mother's life is in danger is certainly valid.  By having the abortion, you preserve a life, the mother's.

It is about as barbaric as abortion to force a woman to carry a child conceived by rape or incest against her wishes.

  3. Why should a woman who has been raped be FORCED to give birth to the child of a man who violated her so brutally?

And in the case of incest, why should a daughter be forced to give birth to her own father's, uncle's, brother's child?

There are exceptions to every rule. In the case of rape or incest, a woman should be able to decide the outcome of the pregnancy. To become pregnant by either of those two situations was a choice that was taken from her and forced on her, violently, in many cases.

  4. McCain is definitely not even close to my first choice.  That being said, as a Catholic who actually knows the teachings of the Church, I will vote for McCain over Obama because McCain's past voting record is less damaging to the life of the unborn than that of Obama's (remember, Obama has voted against the Born Alive Act in the state of Illinois  -  even the most liberal of Democrats voted in favor of this act, realizing that killing a breathing child outside of the womb is horrible).  While McCain has not been perfect in regards to life issues, he's 1000x better than Obama and will do far less damage.  If Obama is elected, he will overturn EVERY law that has been in place to protect the lives of the unborn and the lives of women (yes, women are hurt by abortion, and they get a better understanding once they find out about what they did when presented with the truth, unfortunately after the fact).

  5. Your right, so you and all true conservatives should just stay home come voting day.

  6. he's not conservative on anything

  7. i love abortions.  i eat fetuses on my toast every morning.

  8. As a life-long conservative, I can honestly say that I couldn't care less about ANYONE'S stance on abortion. Believe it or not, it's not at the top of most conservative's list of important issues.

  9. I'm sorry, but I find the idea of forcing a woman who has been a victim of rape to give birth to the rapist's baby to be completely revolting.  The only thing more revolting would be to force an incest victim to give birth.

  10. The President has no power to do anything about abortion.  Only Congress can pass a law outlawing it.  I am strictly against abortion for convenience, which is what most abortions are, but I don't chose a political leader based on their opinion of the issue.  I vote for a leader who is able to take the country in the general direction it needs to go in order to remain the greatest nation in the world.  McCain may not be a perfect conservative, but he's a far sight better than the current liberal who wishes to lead America down a primrose path to third world status.

  11. There's a history of Republican presidential candidates changing their views on abortion. It seems to work for them and their religious constituents. People can change their opinions.

Very upsetting that YA won't post your question. I'm not sure how this works.

  12. Who should we vote for then?  Obama?  When voting for a President, choices are limited.  People tend to go with the person they agree with the most.

  13. Which of course brings up another question...why doesn't your Bible mention that incest is bad? Are we to assume that it is good?

Did it just slip God's mind?
