I have trouble being nice to people so how can i change that?

You need an attitude change and a new perspective!!!  Why do you have trouble being nice to people???  I'm sure if you try being nice to someone, then they will be nice to you, too.  You say you are shy and antisocial...well, that's your problem right there!!!!  Also, you don't need tons and tons of friends to be considered a nice person; lots of people have lots of acquaintances, but few people have more than just a few good friends.  While your previous friend should not have sworn at you and called you names for telling her not to be friends with your best friend, you also should not have said that to her!!!  What's wrong with one of your friends trying to be friends with your best friend??? You're too insecure....lighten up!!!!
