  1. You probably only have to be capable of running a mile. Endurance. They would probably be more concerned about your short sprints and lunges.

  2. Well first of all u have 2 try 2 run a mile without being timed, just make sure u complete the mile regardless of how slow u do it, the try it again the next day with the goal of 2 min off the previous day

  3. You can't really improve your time in one day, so I guess you should just really really push yourself to the limit. Either run the mile or collapse. There are no in betweens.

  4. you wont to be sure you take your breaths through your nose and exhale out your nose you will run alot better and wont get winded, be sure you stretch before you run good luck

  5. Eat healthy that morning, go to bed early, have good running shoes, drink plenty of water, don't look at your feet, stretch good, don't start of like.. sprinting, youll get tired fast

and remember- its okay if your slow, take your time, just as long as you finish

  6. im sorry to tell you but you would need more than one night to prepare

someone above gave bad advice. you want to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. for me it helps if i breathe in a rhythm. i usually breathe in for 4 steps and breathe out for 4 steps. this helps me mentally.

as for preparing, you should have started running weeks ago. the best advice i can give you is to know your limits. start out slow and save your energy for the end of the mile. your coach might be impressed if you have a kick at the end of your mile. sprint the last 200 meters and make sure you stretch out before and after
