I have two 1200 watt subs and one 1000 watt amp would it be safe to turn the amp all the way up?

I have two 1200 watt subs and one 1000 watt amp would it be safe to turn the amp all the way up?

yeah it depends, because i had a 600 watt  subwoofer and i powered it by  a 200 watt amp and it sounded ok but when i turned the volume all the way up or even just half it would make a clipping sound. Now i power them with a 1000 watt nitro amp, and they sound way better.

its always better to overpower them than under powering[not most of the time] them but i think it would sound pretty good...good luck.
