I have two Hydrangea bushes, and they will not bloom. I have watered, fertilized, and mulched them but they?

  2. It could be a pruning issue if you are cutting them back at the wrong time of year.  There are different varieties of hydrangea, but many will set blooms in the summer for next year's flowers.  If you prune in the spring you would be removing potential flowers for that summer.

    Too much fertilizer will cause them to grow lush foliage at the expense of flowers.

  3. Some species need full shade and will not bloom in direct sun.
