I have two Nalgene bottles that I have been drinking out of for a long time. How do I safely recycle them?

Nalgene bottles leach chemicals into your drinking water and can affect estrogen levels in women. How do I get rid of these awful things?!

you drive over them with your car then take them back to REI and say you dropped them while climbing. Theyll give you two new ones for free.

keep an eye on the news paper and look for a local hazards wast  day  ware u can drop off any bad trash u have... usually it's free... we got rid of 200lbs of pesticides left over from the old family orchard... it was free  and they know what to do w/ that stuff..

Every kind of plastic leeches chemicals into whatever you are drinking or eating, there are no exceptions.  You are absorbing far more harmful chemicals in much larger quantities by using soap, shampoo, household cleaners, and just about every other product that you can think of.  Why are you so worried? Is it because of the latest "study" that says what you should have known all along if you were paying attention?
