  1. first, do not look at max/peak power on any equipment. only rms watts is important.

for the amp, i would advice you getting a 1 channel class-D block amplifier. these are mainly used to run subwoofers under low ohm loads and remain cooler.

since you are using (2) 4 ohm dvc subs, you can wire each sub to 2 ohms, then then wire both down to a final 1 ohm load.

there for, your best amplifier choice will be a 1 ohm stable amp that will provide you with the combined rms watts of the subwoofers at 1 ohm load.

if each sub is 600 watts rms, then both will be 1200 watts rms for both. if so, look for an amplifier that does:

    1200 watts rms x 1 channel @ 1 ohm.

by the way, i would not advise you bridging these subwoofers. most of the amplifiers that can be bridged are only stable at 4 ohm loads. if you want to do this, you will need a very strong amp to provide you 1200 watts rms for both subs bridged. it will be less expensive to go with a class-D mono block amplifier thats stable at 1 ohm loads.
